2016年10月11日，在第十二届中国实验动物科学年会上，召开了实验小型猪专题报告会，分会由中国实验动物动物学会实验小型猪专业委员会秘书长、南方医科大学实验动物中心主任顾为望教授和广西实验动物学会副理事长、广西大学郭亚芬教授主持。来自浙江中医药大学动物实验研究中心等相关单位的8位专家学者做了分会报告。
